1. Acceptance of These Terms

Welcome to PlayBeacon, a mobile application operated by Watchlight Interactive LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”).

PlayBeacon helps users discover, organize, and explore Roblox games through collections, tasks, badges, and related features.

By downloading, accessing, or using the PlayBeacon mobile application (“App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

For Parents and Guardians:
PlayBeacon is a general-audience app that may be used by users of all ages. Parents and guardians are encouraged to supervise their child’s use of the App and review applicable device settings, permissions, and in-app features.

2. About PlayBeacon

PlayBeacon is a game discovery and organization tool designed to help users explore Roblox games. The App provides:

  • Game discovery and recommendation features

  • Custom collections for organizing games

  • Tasks, badges, and collectible features

  • An accessible and easy-to-use interface

Important Notice:
PlayBeacon is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Roblox Corporation. We display publicly available Roblox game information for informational and discovery purposes only.

3. Eligibility and Age Considerations

PlayBeacon is intended for a general audience and may be used by users of all ages.

Certain features or account options may be restricted for users under the age of 13. Parents and guardians are responsible for supervising their child’s use of the App and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and device settings.

4. Accounts and Access

4.1 Anonymous Use (Default)

By default, PlayBeacon can be used without creating an account:

  • No personal information is required

  • Collections, tasks, badges, and preferences may be stored locally on the device

  • Core discovery and organization features are available without sign-in

4.2 Optional Google Sign-In

You may optionally sign in using a Google account:

  • Allows syncing collections, progress, and related data across devices

  • Certain features may not be available to users under 13

  • You may unlink your Google account at any time through the App

4.3 Account Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Keep your device and account secure

  • Not share your account credentials with others

  • Notify us of unauthorized access at support@watchlightinteractive.com

5. Acceptable Use

When using PlayBeacon, you agree to use the App lawfully and responsibly.

You agree to:

  • Use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes

  • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations

  • Respect our services and infrastructure

You agree not to:

  • Reverse engineer, modify, or interfere with the App

  • Use automated systems, bots, or scraping tools

  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems or data

  • Misrepresent yourself or provide false information

  • Use the App in a way that disrupts or harms others

6. Content and Intellectual Property

6.1 Our Content

All PlayBeacon software, designs, features, and original content are owned by Watchlight Interactive LLC and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, distribute, or modify our content without permission.

6.2 Roblox Content

Game information, images, and descriptions displayed in PlayBeacon are sourced from Roblox and are subject to Roblox’s own terms of service. We display this content under fair use for informational and discovery purposes only.

6.3 Your Content

  • Your collections, progress, and saved preferences belong to you

  • You grant us a limited license to store, display, and process this content within the App solely to provide functionality

  • We do not claim ownership of your content

7. Advertisements

PlayBeacon displays advertisements to support the free App experience.

  • Advertisements may be provided by third-party partners

  • Ads may be personalized or non-personalized, depending on user consent, device settings, and applicable laws

  • We do not control the content of third-party advertisements

If you encounter inappropriate ads, please report them to support@watchlightinteractive.com.

8. In-App Purchases

PlayBeacon may offer optional in-app purchases, such as:

  • A one-time purchase to remove advertisements

Purchases are processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. We do not handle payments directly.

  • All purchases are final unless otherwise required by law

  • Refund requests must be submitted through the applicable app store

  • Parents and guardians should enable purchase restrictions on children’s devices where appropriate

9. Third-Party Services

PlayBeacon uses third-party services to operate and improve the App, including:

  • Google Firebase (authentication, analytics, data storage)

  • Google AdMob (advertising)

  • Roblox (public game information only)

  • Expo / EAS (updates and distribution)

  • Error monitoring services (crash diagnostics)

Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. Additional details are provided in the PlayBeacon Privacy Policy.

10. Disclaimers

  • AS IS: The App is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind

  • AVAILABILITY: We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation

  • THIRD-PARTY CONTENT: We are not responsible for Roblox games, third-party services, or advertisements

  • PARENTAL SUPERVISION: Parents are responsible for reviewing game content discovered through the App

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages

  • We are not responsible for third-party content, services, or advertisements

  • Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you to us in the past twelve (12) months, if any

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When changes are made:

  • The “Last Updated” date will be revised

  • Material changes may be communicated within the App

Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Termination

You may stop using PlayBeacon at any time by deleting the App.

We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the App ends immediately.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
