PlayNxt Terms of Service

Welcome to PlayNxt! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the PlayNxt mobile application ("App," "Service," or "PlayNxt"), operated by Watchlight Interactive. By using PlayNxt, you agree to these Terms.

  • PlayNxt helps you decide what game to play - we don't sell games

  • Use the app respectfully and don't try to abuse it

  • We're not responsible for the games we recommend - they're made by others

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using PlayNxt, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the App.

You must be at least 13 years old to use PlayNxt. If you're under 18, you confirm that your parent or guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms.

2. Description of Service

PlayNxt is a game recommendation service that helps you decide what to play based on:

  • How much time you have available

  • Your current mood or energy level

  • Your platform and play style preferences

PlayNxt provides recommendations only. We do not sell, distribute, or provide access to the games themselves. You are responsible for obtaining games through their respective platforms and stores.

3. User Accounts

3.1 Anonymous Use

You can use PlayNxt without creating an account. Anonymous users have access to all core features.

3.2 Signed-In Accounts

If you choose to sign in with Google or Apple:

  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account

  • You agree to provide accurate information

  • You may not share your account with others

  • You must notify us of any unauthorized access

4. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

  • Use the App for any illegal purpose

  • Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or hack the App

  • Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the App

  • Interfere with or disrupt the App's servers or networks

  • Circumvent any rate limits or access controls

  • Impersonate another person or entity

  • Use the App to harass, abuse, or harm others

5. Intellectual Property

5.1 Our Content

PlayNxt, including its design, code, and branding, is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our content without permission.

5.2 Third-Party Content

Game titles, logos, images, and descriptions displayed in PlayNxt are the property of their respective owners. We display this information for recommendation purposes under fair use. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by any game publisher or developer unless explicitly stated.

5.3 Your Content

You retain ownership of any feedback or suggestions you provide. By submitting feedback, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use it to improve the App.

6. Disclaimers

6.1 "As Is" Service

PlayNxt is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:

  • Merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose

  • Accuracy or completeness of recommendations

  • Uninterrupted or error-free operation

  • Compatibility with your device

6.2 Game Recommendations

Our recommendations are based on algorithms and available data. We do not guarantee that:

  • You will enjoy any recommended game

  • Recommendations are suitable for all audiences

  • Game information (platforms, availability, subscription status) is always current

  • Recommended games are available in your region

6.3 Third-Party Games

We are not responsible for:

  • The content, quality, or availability of recommended games

  • Your purchases or experiences with third-party games

  • Any issues with game publishers, developers, or platforms

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PlayNxt and its creators shall not be liable for any:

  • Indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages

  • Loss of profits, data, or goodwill

  • Damages resulting from your use of the App

  • Damages exceeding the amount you paid us (if any) in the past 12 months

8. Premium Features (If Applicable)

If PlayNxt offers premium features or subscriptions:

  • Prices are shown before purchase in your local currency

  • Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled 24 hours before the renewal date

  • Manage subscriptions through your device's app store settings

  • Refunds are handled by Apple App Store or Google Play Store per their policies

9. Termination

9.1 By You

You can stop using PlayNxt at any time. To delete your account and data, go to Settings > Privacy & Data > Delete All Data.

9.2 By Us

We may suspend or terminate your access if you:

  • Violate these Terms

  • Abuse the service or other users

  • Engage in fraudulent activity

We may also discontinue the App at any time with reasonable notice.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by:

  • Posting the updated Terms in the App

  • Updating the "Last Updated" date

  • Requiring acceptance of new Terms for continued use

Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Wisconsin. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of the State of Wisconsin.

12. Dispute Resolution

Before filing any legal claim, you agree to try to resolve disputes informally by contacting us. If we can't resolve the dispute within 30 days, either party may proceed with formal legal action.

13. Severability

If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining parts will continue to apply.

14. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and PlayNxt regarding the App.
